This is Mosley St, Newcastle, the first street in the UK to be lit by electric light.....I made a half-hearted attempt at sorting out my old pics tonight, but obviously I didn't get far, I took this one mid January!!
The Children's Mother and I worked in Grey Street to the right at the lights, many moons ago. We both worked for Berghaus at the same time but didn't really meet for another thirty years.
In short, an eclectic mix of frivolous links that might be vaguely interesting to what was an original family audience....but. hey, anyone else is welcome to join in, we're not proud! EDIT Now with vitamins and added lanolin (in the form of home-grown, freshly harvested photos!)
Daily Picture
Hopefully a-picture-a-day on my Blipfoto Journal .....some good, some bad, but always taken on the day! (most recent posts are in the widget below)

It's a really nice shot. I love the light in it. That architecture could almost be Glasgow city centre!
A good one. I like the perspective.

Isn't that sweet? Ahhh....
Oops! Sorry, we worked in Dean Street, Grey Street is of course to the left.
Looks wet and shiny! Nice busy street scene... I'm sure I shall have a touch of culture shock when we do a flying visit to the UK in March!
