A wonderful selection of "didn't quite cut the mustard" US patent illustrations from the 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's can be viewed at The Patent Room. The categories are Architecture, Cars, Toys, Trains and Uncut, so something for everybody really. Actually, I was looking for this link a few nights ago when I posted on roadside architecture.....but it's taken until now to find it!
