The logistics of domestic planning...1937 style

I'm guessing you won't find this anywhere else on the web.....I scanned it from a weighty tome at work called simply "Planning", the 1937 edition. I guess the modern equivalent would be "The Architects New Metric Handbook", which gives (UK) space requirements and design criteria for a wide range of building types. But I particularly liked the diagram above, notice the sturdy division between service and living quarters!
