Snarling beast

I thought I'd start posting an occasional image of some local stone beasts I've come across recently. This snarling delight lives on Neville Hall (home of The North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers, Westgate Rd, Newcastle....next door to the Lit and Phil)....he's rather splendid, don't you think?
